To Friedrichshafen with eight Norwegian ultralight aircraft

At Hoganas
Three hours after leaving Jarlsberg, we land at Höganäs in Sweden.

Breakfast
Breakfast in the club house, the morning after.

Puncture
The Super Petrel punctures a tyre, which delays us a bit.

Lolland
We meet fog patches over Lolland, Denmark.

Refuelling
Arrived at Lüneburg, in Germany, and time for refuelling.

Lunch
A lunch in the club house and preparation of the next leg.

Formation
Flying a loose formation southward.

Wurzburg
Then another quick refuelling at Würzburg, hoping to reach Markdorf before sunset.

Markdorf
Finally at Markdorf, a small glider airfield close to Friedrichshafen.

Friday evening, a dinner for all the 78 Norwegians who made it to Friedrichshafen.

We stay at the Seminaris Hotel and go for dinner downtown

We find a nice restaurant in the old town, with beer from our own ten liters barrel!

The next morning, we are back to the airfield and plan this leg to Sweden.

Crossing the sea to Lolland, Denmark at 5,000 feet to keep above the fog patches.

Landed and refuelled at Höganäs for the last leg to Norway.

Fourteen pilots in eight ultralight aircraft: Two Dynamics, an ATEC Zephyr, a CT, a Savannah, a Super Petrel, a Asso VI and a Kitfox.
